Studio Policies

Substitute Teachers

1. If your scheduled teacher is sick, we will do our best to find a substitute teacher to give you your session at the regular time. We want you to have a wonderful experience at the studio and will do our best to avoid interrupting your schedule. If the substitute teacher is a different level teacher than your usual teacher, we will apply the session to your BANK ACCOUNT with us using the appropriate charge for the teacher you saw. If you do not have a BANK, we can use one of the sessions in your series to pay for the visit and debit or credit your account with us for the difference in their rates. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the substitute teacher, please let us know and we will be happy to compensate you for the session.

2. When your scheduled teacher has a planned absence, there should be plenty of time to make arrangements for someone else to teach you and to let you know who you will be seeing. You will receive the substitute teacher’s contact information. If you need to change or cancel the appointment, please contact the substitute teacher directly via mobile phone or email rather than call the studio.

3. We always love to hear back from you any time, but especially after you’ve seen another teacher to let us know how it went. Every teacher has a unique style and background so you will often find that you learn something in a new way when working with someone new. We hope it will be a positive experience.


Late Cancellation Policies

1. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for private sessions. Please contact your instructor directly via mobile phone if you need to cancel an appointment. We would appreciate it very much if you would let us know 72 hours or more in advance if you have to cancel an appointment. If we have less than 24 hours notice, we will use part of the BANK you have with us or a session from your existing series to pay for the missed session. If you do not currently have a BANK or series with us, we will use the credit card information on file to pay for the missed session.

2. We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for duet sessions. Please contact your instructor directly via mobile phone and also contact your duet partner at the same time if possible.  If you are not able to contact your duet partner, please tell your instructor that you have not contacted your partner so your instructor will know to do that right away. There needs to be time for your duet partner to be notified that you are cancelling and then to decide whether to take a private session or cancel also. The second person in the duet needs to give us a minimum of 24 hours if they decide against coming in for a private session and therefore are cancelling too.
